Jews in the American Military

What the attendees will learn:
The stories of American Jews not named Rickover who made significant contributions to the American military.

Overview:
Most Americans (and American Jews) do not realize the significant contribution their fellow congregants made to American military history. Mr. Liebman introduces you to men and women, starting with the American Revolution and ending with the Vietnam War who, over their careers, made an major impact on the U.S. military’s ability to win on the battlefield. Some of these men were generals and admirals, others weren’t. They are important to U.S. history because of the difference they made. Many had to overcome blatant anti-Semitism and ignorance. They all persevered and we, as a nation, are better off for their efforts.
