Interview – Why Helicopters Are Difficult and Dangerous to Fly

Marc often hears the comment that if you have a problem in a helicopter, you just autorotate down. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Helicopters are much more challenging to fly than fixed-wing aircraft and when one has a mechanical problem, the pilot’s options are very limited. In our discussion, Marc will talk about the differences and how and why helicopters are more dangerous to fly than fixed-wing aircraft.
