They are ordered are to evaluate the damage and determine if there are any other spies.  Cabot and Haman stumble on an unauthorized intelligence sting operation run out of the Senate Intelligence Committee and discover that the security leaks go higher up than anyone imagined.

Juanita Jaramilla, the CIA’s Director of Pacific Operations Analysis came to the U.S. as a little girl and has a very unhappy life. Her mother died when she was a teenager and her father worked himself to death trying to find a cure for the cancer that killer her mother. Along the way, Juanita lost her husband in Korea and her son in Vietnam and has channeled her desire for revenge into a lucrative business selling secrets.

Cabot and Haman are convinced that Jaramillo fled to Argentina, the land where she was born.  CIA experts believe she’s in Cuba or the Soviet Union.  What neither agency knows is that the KGB is also hunting Juanita.  And they want Jaramillo neutralized before she can tell the Americans that there’s a mole in the FBI’s counterintelligence division.
